When a tenant refers a rent increase, the tribunal will want your evidence. The pack brings it together from the notice and the property.
Who this is for: letting agencies and landlords.

The evidence pack on a notice.
What you are deciding
When to assemble the pack and what to add to it.
Your options
- Rent increase (Form 4A). Assemble evidence pack on the notice: the form, service, the range, decisions and approval.
- Possession (Section 8). Assemble possession pack: the notice, service, the grounds and the arrears record.
- On Solo. An evidence pack is a one-off £120.00. It is included on Portfolio and in the trial.
How to do it
- Open the notice.
- Select Evidence to check what is on file and add any missing documents.
- Select Assemble evidence pack (or Assemble possession pack).
- Download the PDF and check it before sending.
A worked example
The tenant at 15 Derby Close refers the increase on 30 September 2026. On 2 October the agency opens the notice, adds two letting agreements as comparables under Evidence and assembles the pack: notice, certificate of posting, the defensible range and three decisions.
What Abide.Rent does for you
