How it works in detail

Where a term is not recorded, Abide.Rent assumes the landlord keeps the duty and the agency has no authority to serve. Record your own agreement, or start from a template and send it for signature.

  • Service level, fees, notice period, inspection frequency, client money and deposit arrangements, all on one record.
  • Authority to serve and landlord approval set who may serve a notice and whether the landlord signs off first.
  • Right to Rent and gas safety move to the agency only when the agreement says so in writing.
  • Upload the signed original; a record PDF of the terms is produced for the file.
  • Tenancies: issue the written statement of terms from the tenancy file, and the tenant records receipt in their portal.
